World Cargo Logistics
Sorry to disturb your Sunday night wind-down, just a quick one tonight. With just under a month to go until the pre-season friendlies begin (April 22nd FYI, get the picnic ready) and between dodging the occasional snow showers it must mean its time to get the jobs done and the membership opened up - the 2021 membership runs out on 30th April but we opened the 2022 window up yesterday for those who like to be early birds and get it done, many thanks to those who have done their bit already. We salute your kind.
You can renew here at https://chertseycc.org.uk/pages/membership but you will also start to see your renewal emails coming out to you - renewing is easy peasy. Once you have your link to Membermojo (our membership database provider) just check over the details we have for you, take in the member's policies, submit, and make your payment. You'll then receive a confirmation email and you are good to go.
Spring Work Day Next Sunday...
A couple of weeks ago we asked you to pencil in the Spring Work Day into your busy diary, and its next Sunday from 10am (eek) - please see below the list of jobs to be completed:
There's a lot to get done so if you can help with any of the above let us know so we can get an idea of numbers or come down on the day, any time you have is welcome.
The 100 Season is Up & Running...
The Friday before last night saw the launch of the 100 Years at Grove Road celebrations - a big thankyou to all that turned out - Boasty had an uncanny, worrying likeness to Tommy Shelby... Fittingly two plaques were unveiled - the original stone one which resided just above the entrance to the club via the blue door, and a new one donated very kindly by P Boast & Son Funeral Directors which will adorn the patio by club mascots Rio & Anton the stone lions. We also honoured the Indoor Surrey champions, who were presented with a souped up version of their trophy and some brand spanking new medals to go with the accolades.
You can find all the highlights here over on the Yootoob:
