Our Strollers XI was the brain-child of captain Stuart Chennery, who wanted a return to the glory days for both himself and his teammates of the 70s and 80s. He has gone on to cultivate a much-loved side of 40-year-old+ cricketers (and the odd Sunday team player with a wig on).
In 2025, to stem the amount of "ringers" appearing in the OG Strollers team, the over-forties thought they'd have a go - some still playing in the senior sides, some needing some persuasion to come out of retirement (or off the golf course),but ultimately proving, they've still got it.
