Bluecaps in Brief: Simply the Best

It's been a busy old month so far hasn't it and we're settling into the off season with vigour. It nearly came home (again - that NZ game was a hard watch), but Qatar here we come, plans have started to come together for the 2022 season in earnest, and we all got together again to see the sky light up.

It was great to see so many of you at Fireworks night a couple of weeks ago - thankyou for coming down and supporting both the Club and the 1st Chertsey Scouts Group so well on the event's return after a hiatus last year. 

The next and final event of the year on our list is the AGM and Awards Night this coming Friday 19th, an epic double header if you will.

If you haven't been to an AGM before, this is where we confirm the Captains, Committee members, new honours, and go through the current status of the Club. We'll also go through our plans for the 2022 season which includes the big 100 Years at Grove Road celebration. So if you want to be a abreast of things and celebrate the season gone by in style, make sure you're in attendance.

So, awards... the winners have been selected and the names have been engraved on their respective silverware, and we can't wait to see who is the best of the best and honour some fantastic performances from 2021 in the Seniors and Ladies seasons, as well as dishing out some trophies named after former CCC legends - the Cecil Shepherd, Wells, Bentley, Vickery, and Taylor trophies.
