June marks Women's Big Cricket Month and we'll be celebrating our vibrant and increasing ladies and girls sections with gusto.
The Chertsey Ladies are playing more cricket than ever, featuring in three competitions currently. There's the Surrey Slam, consisting of 16-over, short sharp games. The Ladies are in their third year, and currently third in the table in this format. Then there's the Surrey Women's Cricket League Division 2, a longer format (30 overs) and in our Ladies' first outing in this competition, they currently find themselves 2nd in the table. Finally there's the Social League, again, its a first outing after originally joining in 2020. You may be familiar with it - it's the Thursday night T20-fest where they meet the likes of Pirates, Vet Labs, and Marist.
Below are the fixtures for this month, along with results so far, so support them wherever you can. Our big focus game will be this Sunday, which sees the Ladies' inaugural Sunday game at home, hosting Sutton in the league from 2pm.
