How have you been!

Even though the season is done and dusted there is very much still things going on, with two big events to add to your calendar over the next month you won't want to miss.

First up - you may have seen the save the date go out on the socials this week - our annual Awards Night has been booked in for Friday 12 November from 7pm at the Golden Grove, Ruxbury Road, Chertsey KT16 9EN after going virtual last season.

The season may be a recent memory, but we have an awful lot to celebrate, there's the 1st XI promotion, the success of the Ladies section over the season, and many a-smashed record by the Colts and adults alike.

The evening is ticketed and open to all, and there's no cap on numbers, so what are you waiting for! Get ready to celebrate the biggest night in the CCC calendar!

Tickets are £35, and need to be paid for in advance which includes a warm buffet and drinks on arrival. You have until Friday November 5th to get your tickets bought at the below link via Paypal.

When buying your ticket make sure you tell us any dietary requirements and they can be catered for.

The dress code is formal.

Another big date back in the CCC calendar is Fireworks Night, which is back with a bang on 6th November from 5.30pm, so if you're looking to support a local fireworks event, look no further. The event is in conjunction with the lovely 1st Chertsey Scout Group, who as well as laying on food outside to buy will be putting together a spectacular display as ever without doubt. The bar will also be open for refreshments as usual too. 

Bear these bits in mind:

• Tickets only available on the gate - cash only
• Try to bring the correct money for the door if you can to help out with change, dig out your shiny £2 coins
• No sparklers are allowed
• Arrive early if you can  - get your drink in hand, get your spot
