Bluecaps in Brief: Sky Full of Stars

Whoosh! Weeeeeee! Ooooooh! These and other noises can be heard on Saturday night at the annual fireworks night at the Club, doors open at 5.30pm. Who's joining us?

The event is in conjunction with the lovely 1st Chertsey Scout Group, who as well as laying on food outside to buy will be putting together a spectacular display as ever no doubt, we hear its going to go with a bang. The bar will also be open for refreshments as usual too and we'll have a cash only bar outside for your perusal. Tell your family, tell your neighbours, the best display in town is back.

We've attached the flyer, but bear these bits in mind too:

• Tickets only available on the gate - cash only
• Try to bring the correct money for the door if you can to help out with change, dig out your shiny £2 coins
• No sparklers are allowed
• Arrive early - get your drink in hand, get your spot

We do need some help though - we need 6 volunteers to become marshalls for the night - your mission should you choose to accept it, is to help marshall people out of the ground in the event of an evacuation, and you get to wear a high vis... If you can let us or Chairman Nuti know asap whether you're up for the task that would be great, you'll need to be at the ground for 6pm please.

In other news, preparations for the 100 year celebration of our residency at Grove Road are well underway and our plans will be revealed soon - sneak peek, its going to be very exciting and all corners of the Club will be involved. Eeeek! We can't wait to get you involved.
