Play It Forward With Our Winter Work Day!

The ground has begun its renovation for the Winter, and our last job to do is the Winter Work Day which comes around on 6th October from 9am. As ever, we need your help, and the jobs aren't too mad, so if you can help us out for whatever time you can give we'd be eternally grateful - and it keeps things all nice for when we return in Spring.

Jobs needing to be done:

Take down sight screens and put away
Remove mobile covers - put away
Take down and put away advertising signs from nets
Put boundary ropes and sponsor's boards away
Clear out and assess nets for any damage, e.g. broken zip ties
Sort out and tidy the changing rooms

Bring in water fountain - store in away changing room
Drain and pack away the automatic (hanging basket) waterer
Take down hanging baskets
Trim back and tidy flower boxes
Take down and put away parasols
Clear patio drains
Remove small red bins - they'll blow away in the winter
Clear clubhouse gutters - fix any broken ones
Move patio furniture into new garage
Sort lost property box - saving cricket kit & throwing out the rest
Fill patio slab(s) joints. On step and the small one by the lost prop box

Sort out anything that needs to be removed or found home

Clear and make safe the path through to the football club exit gates
Rake the car park area - tidy leaves & fallen branches - put on bonfire
Clear ditches - particularly near grates
Clear in and around garages
Green mats (x2) need to be moved from old into new garage
Need two pallets positioned at the back of the new garage
The black sheet needs rolling up properly and putting in old garage
